he painting titled, "In The Beginning II" is created using mixed media on canvas, primarily acrylic paint with layers of texture to create an impasto effect. The painting is a reflection of how one would imagine the combination of the effects of planetary elements and nature in its' creation process. The colors are vibrant with rich hues of purple, gold, green and white. There is an extensive use of texturing within the painting to provide the simulated effect of turbulent clouds and lightening moving, finished with a beautiful coating of resin and epoxy which makes all of the colors all the more richer. This painting is framed on a hard wood frame with a substantial 3" thickness, gallery wrapped and does not require framing.
