Originally from NYC,and formerly a makeup artist for television and film, Diana was introduced to the art world at a young age, visiting museums and galleries, she was moved and inspired to one day create her own. Influenced by abstract expressionists as well as the simplicity of folk art, her paintings are varied in style. She has studied at the Boca Museum of Art School as well as Old School Square in Delray Beach Florida. She says that art speaks to the viewer in their own language and is always a very personal experience. Her photographs are an abstract visual journey that plays with reflection and natural light. She says that she sees things in common view that no one else sees and when she spots something interesting she captures that. She says that years of paying attention to detail in her career as a makeup artist has trained her eye to scope a vista for a visual story.
