Art is her life. Jill Karlin's life has been devoted to creating harmonious beautiful works of art. Her mother is an artist, and since a young age Jill spent years in The Boston Museum of Fine Arts. She studied at Rhode Island Schol of Design, where she received a BFA, and a Masters from Boston University. Her Junior year in Paris allowed her to get a classical foundation at beaux Arts, La Grande Chaumiere and Atelier 17 with SW Hayter. She apprenticed to the great sculptor Manzu in Rome. She studied film with Eric Rohmer in Paris. She briefly worked for Warner Brothers in Rome. She traveled far and wide, and lived in india where she had a brilliant one person exhibition to stunning reviews. Her works are balanced compositions of joy and meaning, as they all point to a future of harmony and bliss.
